To not vote or toss our vote to the wind to a candidate that cannot make a difference is … downright rebelious!

Well it certainly is not rebellious against America, since we allow more than only two party candidates to receive votes. Are you referring to rebellious against the LORD?

In one election, I voted for a third party candidate, as a matter of conscience, as I was strongly convicted, as a Christian, that I should not vote for either of the other two. So, I believed at that time, that I was doing the more godly thing by not violating my conscience, especially after praying about it. So, how is “not violating my conscience”, actually rebellion?

Is it only situational ethics? Is the only thing that matters is that the person that we believe is more wrong, does not win? Is that the only thing, before the LORD, that we are really responsible for? Is anything else actually rebellion? Rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, so if I vote third party by a matter of conscience, then in God’s eyes, would I really be a witch for doing so?
