On September 24th 2012, at Israel’s National Institute of Security Studies, a dull looking building off a main road in Tel Aviv, three dozen men and women drawn from the top echelons of Israel’s political and military elite met to play a war-game, the outcome of which would help decide whether Israel goes to war with Iran. 
They concluded such an operation could be pulled off without plunging the whole region into war. Iranian experts disagree.

And here's a major point, not taken into account during their Wargame- Monday November 26th, 2012 
Nearly 200 governments gathered in Doha Qatar, for two weeks of talks aimed at forging an agreement on the climate to avoid global warming. 

Bushehr Iran sits to the left of Qatar, the strait of Hormuz to the right.

And there's around 300 Russian nuclear specialists in Bushehr to assist their Iranian counterparts in operation of the facility.

 

In Theory: GCC banks face dollar peg conundrum  August 18, 2011  There is a tense international financial atmosphere right now due to the debt crisis in Europe and the US.  By 2020, it is likely that the GCC countries will peg their common currency to a trade-weighted basket of currencies, although one or two states may opt out. Any such basket will be heavily weighted towards the dollar-

unless there is a global shift away from the practice of trading oil in dollars.       

 

November 27th, 2012  AP: Diagram suggests Iran working on nuclear bomb  

Iranian scientists have run computer simulations for a nuclear weapon that would produce more than triple the explosive force of the World War II bomb that destroyed Hiroshima, according to a diagram obtained by The Associated Press.
