Transit of Venus, Great Earthquake (2004) and Solar Eclipse of 14 November

I would like to share briefly about a possible connection between the Transits of Venus, in 2004 and 2008, the great earthquake on 26 December 2004 and the solar eclipse of 14 November 2012 (in Australia). 

Transit of Venus:  8 June 2004 and 5/6 June 2012

Transits of Venus are very rare astronomical events, with a gap of more than 100 years between occurrences.  When they do take place, there is usually a gap of eight years between transits.  There is an important Australian link to the Transit of Venus.  Observations were made from Tahiti in 1769 at a location still known as Point Venus.  This occurred on the first voyage of James Cook, after which Cook explored New Zealand and Australia.  More details on the Transit of Venus are available on Wikipedia (link below).

What is important for us now is that two recent Transits of Venus have occurred, and both on days that have strong links to Israel’s capture of Jerusalem in June 1967: 8 June 2004 (37 years) and 5/6 June 2012 (45 years).  These appear to have bookended a period of eight years. 

The Great Earthquake of 26 December 2004 (11.59 am Australian time)

Just over six months after the Transit of Venus on 8 June 2004 the historic Indonesian earthquake struck with (sadly) much loss of life.  There are prophetic concerns that another very strong (O mega) earthquake is imminent, one that may impact several nations, and it is worth noting that the Transit of Venus may have been one sign in the sky of things to come.

Is there a Link to the Solar Eclipse of 14 November (Australian time)?

There is what may be viewed as a tenuous link.  With 26 December 2004 as a starting date, five prophetic (360 day) years takes us to 15 November 2012, just one day after the total solar eclipse.  Hopefully my calculations are correct (8*5 or 40 days plus one extra for the leap year in 2008:  41 days worked backwards from 26 December 2012).  May be an interesting timeline.  Of course, eight calendar years would be 26 December 2012.  I always remember that the earthquake struck at 11.59 Australian time - a clear warning!
