Readers -

The only sign given to the scribes and Pharisees by the Lord Jesus was:

Matthew 12:40
"For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so
shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of
the earth."

from Jonah 1:17

since the Lord clearly stated that this was an accurate type of His
own death and resurrection, then this verse is the actual
resurrection.

Jonah 2:10
"And the LORD spake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land.''
