The attack came quickly! After Tuesday and suffering in spirit yesterday and my visions I went out for dinner put my son to bed had a seemingly normal evening! My wife asked me to come watch tv I said no thank you!

Her reply was what are you going to do look stuff up on the computer all night. Ie watching! I did not hear tv so I went in with my bible to read! I came upon a verse I highlighted years ago to watch for His Son Jesus who saves us from the wrath to come! She was reading a novel! Some woman author and I innocently asked do you think this verse talks of the rapture! She said she did not want to look now! I said its one verse you cannot look? She looked and said sure it could many could sure! Then went back to her book! She turned and said its constant with you! I had quote nothing but normal ie worldly conversation all day and night save one remark at seeing the skyfall release date 11/9 on tv at dinner!

I quoted the verse about watching and being ready not wanting to be appointed with the hypocrites she said yeah I heard that before and went back to reading! They just do not get it! 6.4 million professing Christans voted against the tenants of their faith! I did not vote for either my hope lies in a King from heavan!

This thread is not about voting or about my wife it's about why Jesus said to watch and study to be approved to worship Him in truth and spirit not vain words and traditions our body is His temple not buildings!

Those that follow the traditions of the world listen to those who speak according to the world find us who watch and are constantly talking about Jesus coming and to be ready to be extreme and annoying fools they suffer lightly! Even our own family who we try to warn and pray for with an agonized heart as we cringe at our own inadequate witness !

They think we tell them to justify ourselves in our heads when really the spirit cries out within us and the very rocks would cry out to them were we silent!

They just do not get it! They think we are crazy looking up and talking about a rapture they may even think Jesus will come someday just why dwell on it and not be watching tv or whatever!

It's because the rapture is our only blessed hope! It's because nothing is more important then to be found watching waiting and praying as we were commanded to seperating ourselves from the worlds unclean vanity and seeking the rightousness from above that is Jesus!

Fifteen years in church and utterly no understanding that sanctification through the holy spirit occurs when we believe on Jesus as Lord and savior! Believe on means acting on that belief living by Christ means dying to the world!

I am not mad at my wife more horrified that I am someone in less esteem to her then her friends most part of that 6.4 mIllion! I truly am a fool for Christ thank God! I have to say its much smarter then being wise for this world though not of my self!

So I sit alone again because I brought up the rapture when I could have been watching tv eating bon bons! I am ok when I compromise and speak of the world but not ok!

They hate those who do not run in excess of riot with them because somehow they rightfully gleem God judges their actions by our temperance. In other words they don't like our watching because it makes them feel uncomfortable.

So basically friendship with the world is emmity to God and coming out of the world watching for Jesus is emmity to the world!

Come quickly Lord Jesus please forgive them who rebuke me for watching! A prophet has no honor in his own house how much less a watchman crying like a canary in a mineshaft running out of air!

The funny thing is if they were in a mine and a canary chirped they would run for the air! By my chirping that's what I want them to do! It's like the miners telling the canaries to be quiet their annoying them and they cannot get their work done!

My wife is right about one thing it is my job to chirp! She may even believe the air is getting stale she just does not understand its run out and were going off that last breath in our lungs.
