On Saturday, October 27, 2012, there was a huge 7.7 earthquake on the western coast of Canada.  This has to be a major end times sign that the end is near because it is so incredibly unusual in several ways.
 
First of all, I have not heard of any deaths or damages.  A 7.7 quake is huge. The earthquake that devastated Haiti on January 12, 2012 was only a 7.0.  That earthquake left 316,000 dead, an additional 300,000 injured, 1,000,000 homeless, 250,000 residences destroyed, and 30,000 commercial building destroyed.  All of these numbers are from Wikipedia and were reported by the Haiti government.  Yet, I have not heard a single report of death or destruction from Canada.
 
It is also interesting to note that Haiti is famous (or infamous) for the practice of the voodoo religion of Santa Maria.  The Canadian government has been a very vocal supporter of Israel.  Maybe God is trying to tell us that if we support Israel that He can even protect us from something as powerful as a 7.7 earthquake.
 
Secondly, the exact magnitude of the earthquake, 7.7, screams at me that it has prophetic significance.  I am not a numbers person, but this just has to be significant some how.
 
Lastly, the relative timing of the earthquake in Canada and the storm on the east coast seem to me that God is shouting at North America from both sides to prepare for something even bigger that is coming soon.
 
Does anybody else out there have any thoughts on this??
