Hi Everybody,When Hamas started their non-stop barrage of rockets at Israel, I was absolutely convinced that the prophecy of Psalm 83 was about to be fulfilled. Everything was lining up. All the pieces were coming together. It was just as Asaph foretold 3,500 years ago. I was certain that the rapture would happen at any moment, just as the conflict moved into high gear. And then everything came to a grinding halt. That really caught me by surprise. It also caught the Israelis by surprise. Depending on what poll you read, approximately 70 percent of Israelis wanted the war to continue until the threat from Gaza was neutralized. Hamas felt the same way. Once again, depending on what poll you read, the vast majority of Hamas and Gaza wanted the fighting to continue until Israel was defeated, as did the rest of the Muslim world. So what the heck happened???God is in perfect control and everything is happening according to God's plan. OK. So if this is all part of God's plan, what is He planning??Far be it from me to second guess God, but I will put forth a reasonable guess:The Bible tells us that in the last days Israel will stand alone. This is God's plan. Israel will have nobody to turn to for help in their most desperate hour and will have no choice but to turn to God. Up until now America has stood with Israel, even though our support has been waning in recent years. Israel just went to war and we stood by and did nothing. Prophecy has been fulfilled. Israel now officially stands alone. We did not come to their rescue and neither did anyone else. Now that prophecy has been fulfilled and Israel stands alone, Psalm 83 can be fulfilled. Expect that to happen really soon. Tomorrow (Thursday, November 29th) the United Nations will take another formal step to divide the Nation of Israel. Seven days after that is December 6th, another major watch day. In fact, there are a lot of watch days, for one reason or another, between now and the end of 2012. I think it is just a question of which one.Carl Worline
