- 36 “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son,[f] but only the Father. 37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 40 Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. 41 Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left. 42 “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. 43 But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. 44 So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him. 45 “Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time? 46 It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns. 47 Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions. 48 But suppose that servant is wicked and says to himself, ‘My master is staying away a long time,’ 49 and he then begins to beat his fellow servants and to eat and drink with drunkards. 50 The master of that servant (the wicked servant) will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of. 51 He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
The Word of God never contradicts itself. Please read the following verses.
- Luke 8:10: He said, "The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to others I speak in parables, so that, "'though seeing, they may not see; though hearing, they may not understand."
- Amos 3:7: Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets.
- Luke 8:17: For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open.
Please read 2 Kings 2. In this chapter, there are prophets in Bethel and Jericho that tell Elisha “Do you know that the Lord is going to take your master from you TODAY?” Elisha said that he already knew. After going to the Jordan that same day, Elijah is taken up to heaven in whirlwind. This event signifies the Rapture.
What I want to state is that only the Bride of Christ (True Believers) will know when that day and hour of the Rapture will take place because they are the ONLY ones who are spiritually awake and WATCHING! Everyone else is spiritually asleep such as lukewarm christians, the disobedient christians, the double minded christians, carnal minded christians, and sinners. Jesus is obviously NOT coming for ALL who profess to be Christians! For example, lukewarm christians are not saved.
- Revelation 3:15-17: 15 I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! 16 So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth.
There are three stages of salvation: Justification, Sanctification, and Glorification. Salvation is a process. Jesus is ONLY coming for those who are sanctified and made clean. When we are justified by faith in Christ, which is an active belief in Christ through repentance of turning from sin and COMPLETE surrender to Christ, the Lord gives us His Holy Spirit. When we first become saved through justification by faith, our minds and hearts must go on to sanctification. The bad must be melted off. We make a decision with our mind and heart to repent and stop living in sin. The Lord will put us through a "Furnace of Affliction" through trials and tribulations to test our obedience to Him and through our obedience, He continues to "melt" off the "dross" and bad things in order to prepare us for His Second Coming. He came for the lost in His First Coming and now He is coming for the saved (His Bride) in His Second Coming.
- 1 John 1:6-7: If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all[a] sin.
- 2 Thessalonians 2:13: God chose you as firstfruits[a] to be saved through the sanctifying work of the Spirit and through belief in the truth.
- Philippians 2:12:...continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling,
- 2 Peter 3:13-14: But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells. So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him.
- Revelation 3:3: Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; hold it fast, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what TIME I will come to you.

The point of this letter, it to warn the lukewarm christians that they must prepare the way of the Lord in repentance, righteousness, and holiness in God's standards. Many christians will be left behind after the Rapture because they DID NOT PREPARE, even those who look forward to the Rapture. Let us not have an "evacuation mindset" but a "preparation mindset".
