"Rene, Great Post on Kleck and Kerr etc."

that was a great post!

I also have been wondering about this discrepancy between Kleck and Kerr et al because I believe them both to be genuinely hearing from God and yet they have these two different scenarios about our immediate future. But your suggestions contain one that I lean toward as the most likely one to reconcile how they can both be right. And that is that the rapture would occur first and then the revival.

Just think how many questions will be answered when the rapture happens... Such things as "Once Saved Always Saved" will finally be answered because either everyone who ever prayed the "Sinner's Prayer" and meant it sometime in their life will be raptured or they wont. If they are, regardless of what they have done since then, the OSAS people were right all along. If they are not all raptured automatically then the people who believe that it is possible to be saved initially and then later "fall from grace" were right.

Another question that will obviously be answered is "Pre" or "Post" and all that. Let's just assume, for the sake of imagining how a great revival could break out after the rapture, that a large number of people who thought they were ready but were not but were left behind... How would they react? All the argumentative questions would now be answered and it would simply be a huge "either/or" scenario for them after that. Either get completely sold out to Jesus and be willing to die in order to be saved OR completely deny Jesus and take the mark to stay alive a little longer but be damned for eternity. This would certainly contribute to large numbers of people coming fully to Jesus who previously thought that they could "receive Christ" as a "life preserver" but not as Lord, and be eternally secure.

I therefore feel that these two (Kleck and Kerr and others like them) may have two different audiences ultimately. Those who will soon be raptured and those who will stay here longer. Just like there are those who say that we should be storing up food and guns and goods to survive bad times ahead or even the tribulation itself; saying that God is not going to rapture us out of harms way but preserve us through it. And many believe them and if they believe that, it is likely that they will indeed be left here for the tribulation but I don't believe they will be preserved through it because the scripture says Antichrist will make war with them and overcome them.

So, I do think that these different views are both correct in the sense that they may both happen but that the question on the table for each of us is, which group do we want to belong to?

I'm with Jonathon Kleck and the rapture now group. The others that want to stay here and have a revival and eat their stores and shoot their guns are free to do that if they want to and I think God will still meet them at their point of contact that they are able to reach Him from.

To me it reminds me of like, Apostle Peter vs. Apostle John or Martha vs. Mary. They belong to Jesus but each related to Jesus in different ways that caused Jesus to have to meet them at their own point of contact some nearer some farther.

Jude 1:

 22.  And of some have compassion, making a difference:
 23.  And others save with fear

What I do not believe is that things could go on for another 15 or so years under the present conditions without the tribulation beginning. There are too many signs now for it to prolong that far. If it delays then it would seem that the signs in the heavens and the feast appointments such as the moon tetrads etc. were plain wrong and I doubt that.

Even if Mitt were elected and he tried to straighten things out, the fake paper money is so teetering on the brink that I don't see how it could be propelled that far without falling since the only thing keeping the economy going is a belief that the paper in our wallet is real wealth. "What's in your wallet?" Is the perfect question... The devil is mocking people because they do not know the answer to that question but when they find out it will be too late.
