"For Mike W...."

Hi Mike...Thanks for your comments.  I read everything you wrote to me.  I understand what you were trying to point out, but, on this point we disagree due to what I have researched in WHY Jesus had to take the Nazarite vows prior to His crucifixion.  I sent a link (again) to Gino in reply to that post....you can read that one again for clarification of the "why".

As for the Last Supper, I will quote only one of the pertinent verses...Matthew 26:26-29...."And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat, this is MY BODY. (It says nothing about Jesus eating the bread with them) And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying Drink ye all of it; For this is MY BLOOD of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins, (it says nothing about Jesus drinking from the cup first) But I say unto you, I will not drink! henceforth of this fruit of the vine (Jesus had drank wine with others prior to this on other occasions), until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.

From my own perspective on the Nazarite vows, I see nothing there that suggests Jesus drank and ate with them, Himself.  He was also offering them His "body" and His "blood"...and I don't see Jesus partaking of eating and drinking of those things which represented Himself.

Some people say that I "march to the beat of a different drummer"....maybe so.  I have never followed the crowd because I need to know reasons for everything.  I also believe totally that the Sabbath Day is Saturday (as was the day of His resurrection).  I do not follow ANY religious creed or denomination.  But I intensely study the Bible on a daily basis, and the conclusions I come to are by myself alone.  Once I come to a conclusion, I search the internet to see if anyone else has come t! o the same conclusions I have....and there are a few.

We will be judged for our doctrines.  That is a HUGE responsibility for each and every one of us.  I don't think it will "cut any ice" if we tell Jesus, "Well, my pastor said....."...etc.  Matthew 18:18...."Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven:..."etc.  Whenever Jesus, Himself, says "Verily"...I pay extremely close attention.  If the day we observe as our "Sabbath" day while on earth is the wrong one, I wonder if it might not affect participation in the Millennial "rest" as well.  Maybe, maybe not...but I'm not fool enough to take a chance.  Never did Jesus say to NOT observe the Sabbath Day (see the 4th Commandment).  And that day IS a "day of rest" for me.  But, that's the way I do things.
