"Answer for Gino...."
Hi
Gino....Interesting questions! I wish I had all the
answers, but I do understand that Jesus took our sins upon
Himself before He was crucified. Then, just before He
died, He drank what was offered Him of the "fruit of the vine"
(vinegar) just before He stated "It is finished".(John
19:30). He completed all that was necessary to restore
what was lost in the Garden of Eden. All of the Father's
requirements for our redemption, He did. What was
remaining to do was completed after His resurrection during
those eight days required. When He returned to earth, he
ate fish....but nothing is ever said about His drinking
anything. He stated at the Last Supper that He would not
drink wine until He drank it with us in His Kingdom.
This may have been the link I sent in before, and it explains
things a lot more fully than I ever could.

I thought I had sent
in a comment to you before Thanksgiving, but it must
have gotten lost in "cyberspace". I had also
stated that it was important for Jesus to be known as
being from Nazareth and being called a "Nazarine" as
well. The meaning of those words in Hebrew are
"the branch." Zechariah 6:12.....(in part) "Behold
the man whose name is THE BRANCH.....". This was a
huge OT clue as the identity of the Messiah for whom the
Jews were looking. They missed the clue.
Other places in the OT are Isaiah 4:2, 11:1, 60:21;
Jeremiah 23:5, 33:15; and Zechariah 3:8.
! Maybe someone else
might have more answers for you if they have
researched this. There is not a whole lot of
information out there, and many people have not
heard this before. In spite of that fact, I
am completely positive that this was one of the
things that needed to be done. Otherwise, I
can think of no explanation for His not drinking
wine at the Last Supper. That's originally
why I researched it.
