"Why Jesus was a
Nazarite....."
Has anyone wondered (besides me) what the vow
of the Nazarite had to do with the restoration of God's
Kingdom? There is very little logical information
available concerning this...other than Samson getting a
haircut while messing with Delilah. Jesus became a
Nazarite at the end of His walk upon this Earth. He
would not drink of the cup at the "last supper" because He
HAD to fulfill the vows of the Nazarite because others had
failed.
[Being a Nazarite has
nothing to do with being a "Nazarene" (being a citizen
of Nazareth).....for those who may not know the
difference]
This link explains it pretty well:
http://www.remnantbride.com/Nazirite/the_nazirite_vow.htm
In the end it mentions
the year 1994....but whether this is pertinent
information or not, I don't have a clue. What is
important is that this article seems to explain EXACTLY
why Jesus did what He did (or didn't do certain
things).....because Scripture had to be fulfilled.
And Jesus accomplished what He set out to do....restore
the Kingdom.
