"The
Resurrection and the Destruction of Damascus, Another
Pointer"
Readers -
recently I wrote in another post about what I thought about the
Destruction of Damascus (Isaiah 17:1) and the
Rapture/Resurrection of the Dead event from 1 Thess 4:16-17,
which I think happens at the same time.

the number 1289 I have strongly associated with this Damascus
destruction event. this is the total of the first four words of
Isaiah 17:1, ending in the second mention of the name Damascus.
in the New Testament, the Strong's word 339g Anakathizo is used
twice, both time in a resurrection of the dead event. it means
to "sit up". both times a dead person "sits up".
Luke 7:15 son of the widow of Nain
Acts 9:40 Dorcas/Tabitha (Gazelle)
specifically looking at Acts 9:40
Act 9:40
"But Peter put them all forth, and kneeled down and prayed; and
turning him to the body said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her
eyes: and when she saw Peter, she sat up."

for a word by word break down.
notice the gematria values of all the words.
you'll see a word in the list that is valued at
1289
the fact that there is this number in the verse AT ALL,
regardless of it's meaning, indicates to me that the 1289 number
and the Destruction of Damascus are tied to the Resurrection of
the Dead, as typified by Dorcas.
i.e. they happen at the same time or close to it.
