The Feast of New Wine, Part 2

So what was the reason for this change in Paul’s behavior? The Bible teaches us that Paul believed at that time that he would be raptured. In Thessalonians, Paul is recorded as saying, “We who are alive and remain shall be changed.” Since Paul had nothing to do with the church on Pentecost when the Holy Spirit was poured out on the disciples, he missed it. That is just my opinion, but I see no other motive. It was revealed to Paul that the rapture would occur on the day of Pentecost, and so he wanted on be with the apostles in Jerusalem and experience this event with them. It is only in later letters that we learn that Paul finally understood that the rapture of the church would not occur in his lifetime. He once again devoted himself exclusively to his calling as the apostle to the Gentiles. This story clearly shows that the early Christians knew about the day of Pentecost and attached considerable importance to it. I believe that God wants the last Christians to rediscover the day of Pentecost at the very end of time. Only now, at the end of time, are we able to understand from Scripture how the Feast of Pentecost is calculated. The fact that many claim that Pentecost is in the summer is nice, but they do not teach the exact day of Pentecost, but other dates that are not supported by Scripture. Everyone must consider it for themselves, how they want to see it and what they will believe.

 

The Devil managed to connect the Feast of Weeks with the Feast of Pentecost, so that they are celebrated together on one day. There are articles on Doves about the differences between these two feasts in the contributions published on May 4, 2026.  How is it possible that the Church she was seduced to celebrate the Feast of Weeks and Pentecost on one day? On the contrary, when someone reveals that this is wrong, they are usually considered a heretic. These two feasts are like the sunrise and sunset of the Sun. If someone were to claim that the sunrise and sunset of the Sun occur at the same time, we would declare them crazy. And that is exactly what is happening with these feasts. The church all over the world claims that the Holy Spirit was poured out in the spring, but He was given in the summer!!! Why is the devil trying so hard to hide the day of Pentecost from the church? He has a motive and probably knows much better than we do that it is a very important day for the church, the day of the rapture.

 

The church in Philadelphia was distinguished by one thing. They loved and honored the Word of God, that is why it is written that they were saved from the wrath of God. However, the church in Laodicea did whatever they wanted with the Scriptures, and Jesus, who is the Word, remained behind the door. That is why I appeal so much to have the fear of the Scriptures and to keep them as best as possible, which will save us from the wrath of God. We see Laodicea all around us and it is a terrible sight to see what is happening there. It is a great adventure to discover the Word of God. After all, that is what kings are expected to do, to delve deeply into the Word of God. Otherwise, we will remain on the surface, and we will not understand anything, and the devil will win over us. Do we want him to win over us?
