Sadly, too many men view casual hookups as getting lucky.

Apparently viewing those supposed successes as good fortune.

It is considered being lucky in love.

But what if the exact opposite is true?

Proverbs 22:14 The mouth of strange women is a deep pit: he that is abhorred of the LORD shall fall therein.

It is actually like falling into a pit that they cannot climb up out of.

They cannot see that they have already gone from experiencing the LORD's favor, to experiencing his anger.

What appears to be a good thing to them, is actually a very bad thing.

They are not the summer bee, traveling from flower to flower.

Rather, they are ensnared, similar to the Venus fly trap.

By each supposed lucky success, they are deeper, and deeper into sin, blinded by pleasure and pride.

To often, then, viewing the gospel call as unneeded by them, that is more for whom they may consider the unlucky ones.

They don't realize that they are provoking the LORD, more and more.
