Donna,Both beasts are seen by John to arise, first the one who is apparently the antichrist, is seen as rising up out of the sea:
Revelation 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
That may be in reference to his humanity.
Also, both he and Judas are each called son of perdition.
Judas certainly had a humanity, but was there not more to him than that?
John 6:70 Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?
It didn't say Judas had a devil, but that he is a devil, and this was said earlier in Jesus' ministry, long before the devil entered Judas to betray Jesus. So, will the antichrist be similar? Will he have an evil spirit part, which may be what ascends up out of the bottomless pit?
Revelation 11:7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
Revelation 17:8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
However, you were speaking of the second beast, the false prophet, which John saw coming up out of the earth:
Revelation 13:11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.
Perhaps, he also has an evil spirit part, which would be a different evil spirit part than the first beast.Because the evil spirit part of the first beast ascends out of the bottomless pit, which apparently can only be opened with a key.Whereas for the possible evil spirit part of the second beast, it comes up out of the earth, which could be similar to those that earlier ascended out of the earth without the need of key:
I Samuel 28:13 And the king said unto her, Be not afraid: for what sawest thou? And the woman said unto Saul, I saw gods ascending out of the earth.
Also, since there are heavenly chariots, like the one that parted Elijah and Elisha, when Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.Or like later, when the LORD opened the eyes of the servant of Elisha, and he saw the chariots of fire.
So, in contrast to the heavenly chariots, can there maybe exist under-worldly chariots?Whereas a heavenly chariot was involved when Elijah was taken up to heaven. Then, why not, an under-worldy chariot involved when the "false Elijah", the false prophet's evil spirit part, comes up out of the earth? He will mimic what happened when Elijah was on mount Carmel, and fire came down out of heaven, but the counterfeit will be when the false prophet will make fire to come down from heaven.
