Former FBI Director James Comey posted the "8647" seashell photo on Instagram on May 15, 2025. The post, which showed shells spelling "8647" with the caption "Cool shell formation on my beach walk," was interpreted by critics as a threat to "86" (remove) the 47th President, Donald Trump, leading to legal scrutiny.
