I've been trying to understand God's directive to Joshua as it relates possibly to the end times.
I personally believe that Jesus was crucified in 31 ad. Mainly because of the anomaly of the land going dark for 3 hours. It was recorded in China to have happened that year in the spring where they said man from heaven dies for the sins of the world.
There are two seven-year periods in scripture by Joseph before the famine. and Jacob hoping to marry Rachel working for 7 years but then given Leah the eldest instead. He then worked 7 more years for Rachel. There are 7 years left known as Daniels 70th week or The time of Jacobin trouble. Also, a bridal week is 7 days or years.
So 2024 seemed very logical to me for the rapture if Jesus was crucified in 31 ad. The first 7-year period from 2017 to 2024 would be equivalent to the final seven years of the gentiles and the marriage to Leah. Then I thought 2024 to 2031 would be Daniel's 70th week. Also, and Jewish wedding tradition the bride and groom circle each other seven times as well I believe from memory but not positive. Of course it came and went so I pushed that idea aside--back to the drawing board.
But in the last week or two the impression of creation being 6 days followed by one day of rest and each Hebrew week being 6 days with one day of rest, I've been wondering if anything else points to 6 years from 2025 equaling the 2031 crucifixion.
There are a couple points that came to mind. First scripture says after 6 days, Jesus took Peter James and John UP the mountain and was transfigured before them, a type of the rapture. We know that 6,000 years from Adam and 2,000 years from the first coming would be consistent. But also, we know that after 7,000 years, Satan is loosed for a short time and then destroyed.
God had Joshua March around Jericho for 6 days. Then on the seventh day they marched again and the walls fell. I feel like this could be an important clue of the timing but haven't put it all together yet. Would be interested for any input from any of you on this site.
