i have this app on my phone that shows greek words and then exact link to English words

called scripture direct.

i went and looked at 2 peter 3.10 with this app and it also shows alternate translations of the same greek word.

so

2 peter 3.10

on which day the heavens will cease to exist with a rushing noise.

heaven could also mean God.

will cease to exist could also mean arrive.

wow
so alternate meaning could be:
God will arrive with a rushing noise.
or maybe even
kingdom of heaven will arrive with a rushing noise....

... ponder... a trumpet?!

the elements burning will be destroyed

elements could also mean supernatural powers that control the world.

so this could instead mean that supernatural powers controlling the world will be destroyed.
