Is it a coincidence that the book of Revelation begins the first few chapters by addressing the seven churches in Asia?

Those churches located in what is, today, western Turkey (Türkiye).

Also, considering that in Pergamos is where Jesus says Satan's seat is, then later, the future is referred to, where that seat will be given to the beast (antichrist).

Additionally, years before Josephus tied Magog to the Scythians, Assyrian court records tied Magog along with, yet west of, Meshech, Tubal, and Togarmah.

The others were somewhat under the influence of Assyria, but not Magog, yet it helped Assyria in its struggles with the people northeast of the Black Sea.

That would have Magog to have been the name of the area that would later have the seven churches.

Some folks have considered that the altar to Zeus, that had been in Pergamos, was the seat of Satan, which was later moved to Berlin, however:

One: it was an altar, not a seat - Jesus said seat, not altar - he knows the difference, like with the tabernacle

Two: Satan isn't forced to go where much-less powerful creatures move an altar to, they do not control him, nor his location of operation.
