"It is
interesting that there is a Jewish
tradition that Enoch was born on the day
that was later ordained as the Feast of
Weeks. What makes this even more
interesting is the associated tradition
that he was "raptured" on his
birthday. Is it possible that this is a
foreshadowing of the harpazo of the church?"
The Feast of
Weeks also called the Feast of Pentecost
was one of the required Feast Days that
the Jews were to go up to Jerusalem with
the other 2 Feast Days being the Feast of
Unleavened Bread (including
Passover and Firstfruits), and the
Feast of Tabernacles. So wouldn't it stand
to reason that we believers were required
to go up to New Jerusalem in heaven on one
of these Feast Days? The Feast of
New Wine, 50 days after the Feast of
Weeks, was not one of the required Feast
Days for the Jews to go up to New
Jerusalem.
