This is in reply to your 5/18/2025 post RE: Donna Danna: 05.11.23: angels and the new Jerusalem  It looks like there is one angel at each of the 12 gates in New Jerusalem to possibly guard each gate so no sinful human person enters in to eat of the tree of life just like the entrance to the garden of Eden was guarded by the cherubim so no one could enter in and partake of the tree of life there and become an immortal who could never be saved like Satan and his fallen angels who can never be saved and can't repent.  However, there is no mention in the book of Revelation that there will be a flaming sword guarding the 12 entrances of Jerusalem like the one at the entrance to the garden of Eden.  Please see the Bible verses below:

Genesis 3:22-24, "And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of 

Eden to till the ground from whence he was taken.  So he drove out the man; and heplaced at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life."

In regard to New Jerusalem see the verses below:

Rev. 21:27, "And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life." 

Rev. 22:1415, "Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie."
