"ARE GEHENNA & THE LAKE OF FIRE THE SAME PLACE OF TORMENT?"

According to Greek interlinear Bible, the word "hell"in the KJV in the following verses in Matt. 5:28-29 ( Matthew 5 - Apostolic Bible Polyglot Greek-English Interlinear), Matthew 10:28 ( Matthew 10 - Apostolic Bible Polyglot Greek-English Interlinear ), Matthew 18:9 ( Matthew 18 - Apostolic Bible Polyglot Greek-English Interlinear ) and Mark 9:43-48 ( Mark 9 - Apostolic Bible Polyglot Greek-English Interlinearis really "Gehenna." And this is something I never realized before, but the verses below about your body and soul being cast into hell (Gehenna) is talking about a person's resurrected physical body at the Great White Throne judgment in Rev. 20:11-15 because the first time a person dies, their dead body is buried in the ground or placed in a Mausoleum, etc.

Matt. 5:28-29, "And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hellAnd if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell

Matt. 10:28, "And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Matt 18:9, "And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.

Mark 9:43-48, "And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire."

However, the "hell" in the KJV in Rev. 20:13-15 in the below verses is called "Hades" in the Greek Interlinear Bible at Revelation 20 - Apostolic Bible Polyglot Greek-English Interlinear and in G86 ᾅδης - Strong's Greek Lexicon  Hades is the place or state of departed souls." And the lake of fire is not called Gehenna in these verses.

Rev. 20:13-15, "And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."  Hades is the place or state of departed souls. It looks like Hades and the lake of fire are two different places. Hades is the place of the departed souls, and the lake of fire is the second death after a person in Hades is cast out of Hades and resurrected in their physical body to face the Great White Throne judgment.

We know that the beast (Antichrist) and the False Prophet are cast alive into the lake of fire when the Lord Jesus Christ returns to Earth according to Rev. 19:20 and the devil Satan is cast into the Lake of Fire after the 1,000 year millennium according to Rev. 20:10.  As for those that worshipped the beast and took his mark in the forehead or in the right hand, we are told in Revelation 14:10-11 that "...he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name."

Are there any people that took the mark of the beast who are still living at Jesus' return? If so, where are they being tormented and get no rest day and night?  Are they in a holding place near Jerusalem in some valley like the Gehenna in the Bible near Jerusalem because Jesus is in Jerusalem, and will be held there until the Great White Throne judgment, and then later cast into the lake of fire if their names are not written in the book of life?Or should we assume that they are being tormented in the lake of fire and get no rest day and night there although the book of Revelation never said that they were cast alive into the lake of fire? And what about those that died and took the mark of the beast?  Are they in the same place as those who are alive that took the mark of the beast?  Or are those who died and took the mark of the beast in Hades being tormented and will later be resurrected at the Great White Throne judgment and then throne into the lake of fire where they are tormented if their names are not found written in the book of life?

Isaiah 66:23-24 says, "And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saiththe LORD. And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcasses of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh."

Does that not mean that the bodies of those that died after taking the mark of the beast are left in view for everyone to look at near Jerusalem, where the Lord will be worshipped, and their soul/spirit is in a holding place called Hades?  They will then later be resurrected at the Great White Throne judgment. Remember the story of Lazarus who died and was in a place called Abraham's Bosom, and the rich man who died and went to hell according to Luke 16:23 in the KJV which says, "And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom." "Hell" in that verse is "Hades" according toLuke 16 - Apostolic Bible Polyglot Greek-English Interlinear  The rich man was not yet cast into the lake of fire which is a different place from Hades. So it looks like Hades and the Lake of Fire are two different places and that Gehenna is another name for the Lake of Fire, but why would Jesus call it Gehenna in the gospels of Matthew and Mark, and then call it the lake of fire in the book of Revelation?  It is only called the Lake of Fire in Rev. 19:20, 20:10, 20:14 & 20:15.
