Rapture -
Trumpet Sound
Around the year 2010,
when I finished singing the song, How Great Thou
Art, I suddenly heard a trumpet sound - one long
blast. I stunned as I was alone in my
"secret place" and could not attribute it to
anything in the area. One day, while on the
internet, I came across a Jewish explanation for a
long, single blast of a trumpet. It is used
by the Jews for the coronation of kings: Jesus
is our soon coming King.
"In the Bible, the
sounding of a trumpet often indicated that
something important was about to happen – change
was going to come, or movement was about to take
place. For those of us who are in Christ’s
church, we eagerly await the sounding of one
particular trumpet, the Last Trumpet,
which will bring an incredible change, translating
us from corruptible to incorruptible." - Amir

The shofar is
associated with the Akedah,
Abraham's offering of Isaac on Mount Moriah,
as detailed in Genesis 22. Rabbinical
tradition associates the left
horn of the ram as the "first
trump" and the right
horn as the "last trump."
A
distinguishing feature of the celebration is
the last, climactic blast, the Teki'at
Shofar. This is not the
usual series of short bursts, signalling alarm
or bad news. Rather, it is a long blast,
signalling victory or good news. It
is this last blast that is referred to as
"the
last trump." --

Jesus is coming any day now! Dreams, visions, supernatural sounds are occurring in these final days prior to His return, as prophesied in the book of Joel. The signs are undeniable and everywhere! We must get right with Jesus now and look up for He is about to call His people to meet Him in the Rapture! It can seriously happen at any moment as there are no prophecies yet to be fulfilled prior to the Rapture. That's why it is considered an "imminent" event.
