Dear John,

Thank you for letting the Doves know about your current health problems.

We shall most certainly be praying for you, and for a speedy resolution of whatever is found via your examination.

Can I reassure you that even a diagnosis of cancer is not a dire problem today.

Eleven years ago this month, I also had symptoms of low blood count, and after a colonoscopy, I needed surgery

to remove half of my large colon that was cancerous; I am still cancer free, and now aged 83. 

I am grateful to God for the extended years that have allowed me to continue my writing.

I pray for your health and wellbeing, and for the Holy Spirit to abundantly bless you in the midst of this trial.

Thanks, EAR! It seems your cancer 11 years ago is worst than mine (about 20 cm of my colon was removed); yet, God has healed you and enabled you to serve Him faithfully since then. What an inspiration! Praise God!
