Niger shut down the country's air space - effectively stranding American soldiers on the base. So, Niger invited in the Russians to the air base to tell the Americans to "leave the base immediately."The Russians appear to be Wagner soldiers now called the African Army Corps.This is yet another humiliation for the U.S. - brought about by Biden's failed foreign policy."The incident has raised a storm of reactions in the US as well, as the Republicans fiercely attacked the American Ministry of Defense and Minister of Foreign Affairs A. (Secretary of State)"You are humiliating us internationally" they emphasize to Foreign Minister Lloyd Austin (Defense Secretary) and the other American generals."There appear to be about 900 American troops on this air base."US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin tried to play down the issue by saying that "the Russians are in a separate compound", they do not have access to US troops and US military equipment.""This is a disastrous development for the USA. For the following reasons:1) The US built a 100 million drone base in Niger and is now handing it over to the Russians.2) Niger's pro-Russian regime held the US military hostage for several days.3) The scenes will have an impact across Africa. This is a great humiliation.Russia will be deploying troops to five African countries: Niger, Burkina Faso, Libya, Mali and the Central African Republic.I watched Matt Gaetz question top U.S. military brass about a no fly zone over Niger - effectively stranding our soldiers in Niger. The military brass seemed clueless as to what was going on. He said, "Last month on April 17th, I told the country on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives that Russians were inside the wire on U.S. Air Base 101 in Niger. Senior defense officials are now confirming what I said was TRUE because their failures were exposed by a senior enlisted whistleblower stationed in Niger. Joe Biden and Sec Blinken's weakness puts Americans in danger and empowers our adversaries."Here's Matt Gaetz exposing this "cover-up' (this video is dated two weeks ago): He talked about the 11,000 troops stranded in Niger. They can't get supplies, medicine, etc. The U.S. Embassy in Niger has been blocking the intelligence on the conditions of our troops. We've invested over half a billion dollars in this Niger base. Blinken said "Niger was a model of democracy. A model of cooperation." Just a year later, the Niger government was replaced by a military coup. The U.S. military had trained the coup leaders. The U.S. trained multiple African country coup leaders. These coup leaders have turned to Russia.The Senior U.S. official at the airbase sent a letter to Congress asking for help - he wrote that the U.S. Embassy in Niger suppressed the real info about what was going on in Niger. The embassy has also hindered the U.S. military troops in arriving and leaving Niger. He is asking for help.Gaetz said we have Russians on our base. Our soldiers are being held as hostages. Biden and Blinken have abandoned our troops.run time 7:41Here Gaetz questions two U.S. top military - General Randy George (Chief of Staff of the Army) and U.S. Secretary of the Army Christine Wormuth: Gaetz asked them about diplomatic overflights in Niger. Both wouldn't answer (clueless?) Gaetz said that we are not allowed to do diplomatic overflights in Niger. So, our U.S. troops are trapped in Niger. These two top brass can't not know what's going on in Niger - either they are playing ignorant or maybe they really are clueless?? - which is even more disconcerting. Gaetz demanded that our soldiers gets meds and water. (I don't trust Wormuth - she seemed clueless about all of this and then said she'd make sure our troops there got medicine and water - that was it!) Gaetz also mentioned that Russian troops had arrived in Niger.

After their Afghanistan withdrawal disaster...I hope and pray, this time, all of our soldiers are safely removed from Niger with no incident with Russian forces. Those two have a history of messing things up.It's just one thing after the other on the world stage with these people in office.
