"Douglas H: "A Good Article Re:  2nd Passover" Letter"

Hello Douglas H and Doves,

Last week, Douglas H, posted a very interesting letter on the Lord's return in a spring month. Thanks, Douglas!

In this letter is a link to:  "When is Jesus Likely to Return?  What Time of the Year?"  Lots of interesting connections in this article.  The author presents many verses pointing to the month of May - the second month of the Hebrew calendar, Iyar - and has a list of eight clues pointing to the Lord's return in the second Hebrew month (corresponding to our May/early June).
The Return of Jesus - Eight Clues Pointing to the 2nd Month of Spring.pdf - Google Drive

The author is looking at the second Hebrew month - Iyar.  The month of the wheat harvest.  The month of the Second Passover.  The month of the Ascension of our Lord.  For the return of Jesus.

The author listed 'notable' dates in the second month.

One such date is the 27th day:  "Acts 1, Jesus ascends into heaven..."  Another is 17th day - "God shuts the door on Noah's Ark".  'As in the days of Noah...'

This year, on the Chabad calendar, 17 Iyar is on May 25.  Also, on the Chabad calendar, 27 Iyar is June 4.  April 25 or 17 Nisan (Resurrection Day) is 40 days before this.  Please see my other Doves letter today "Ascension Day 2024" for other Hebrew calendars and corresponding dates.  I did not include the 17th day...just subtract 10 days from the given Ascension Day.

The author also writes about 'two men will be in the field" and "two women will be grinding at the mill" - these are probably harvesters and the women are grinding the wheat they've harvested.

The author has a link to an article at Jpost.com:  "The circle of a year" -  "The month of Sivan (May) is the time of the wheat harvest and is reflected in the ritual service of the festival of Shavuot by the two Loaves offering, made from the newly harvested wheat."

The author connects the list of notable dates to Second Passover which is on "... the second month on the fourteenth day".

And the author wrote abut 'a man going on a long journey'.  And notes numerous verses that are about 'going on a long journey'.  Such as Numbers 9, Luke 29, Matthew 25, and notably, in Mark 13: 32-35 Jesus said, "But concerning that day or that hour, no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.  Be on guard, keep awake. For you do not know when the time will come.  It is like a man going on a long journey, when he leave home and puts his servants in charge, each with his work and commands the doorkeeper to stay awake.  Therefore stay awake - for you do not know when the master of the house will come (At the Second Passover?)".

The author wrote that Jesus is that man who went on a long journey..."which would imply that His return would be during the Second Passover - which is a full moon."

The author also wrote about Ascension Day - 27 Iyar - where the angels said "Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven?  This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heave, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven."  Acts 1:11.  The author asked "Could the "Same Way" actually mean the "same day"?  What day did Jesus ascend?"  "The Ascension - 40 Days after the Resurrection 27 Iyar (2nd Month - 27th day).

The author said that all of this points to a May timeframe.

On the Chabad calendar, the month of Iyar corresponds to May 9 - June 6.  Second Passover is on 17 Iyar and Ascension Day is on 27 Iyar.  On the Chabad calendar these dates are, May 25 and June 4, respectively.

Certainly high watch dates for the Rapture.  Many others have written letters to Doves about a 'spring' Rapture, looking at the books of Ruth and the Song of Solomon and others.  This all looks good!

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!

Maranatha!
