"Solar Flares and Auroras - More To Come"

Hello John and Doves,

The solar storms we've been having aren't over yet - a CME hit the Earth on May 10th resulting in the biggest electromagnetic storm in over 20 years.

"More CMEs are expected to hit Earth's magnetic field during the next 24-48 hours and they could push the storm back to extreme levels."

Another X-flare was released on May 11th - the strongest yet from the giant sunspot AR3664.  This one is Earth-directed and expected to hit Earth on May 13th -
"adding new power to the ongoing geomagnetic storm."
SpaceWeather.com -- News and information about meteor showers, solar flares, auroras, and near-Earth asteroids

There are a series of CMEs expected to "merge and arrive at Earth by midday on May 12.  Periods of G4-G5 (severe-extreme) geomagnetic storms are likely to follow the arrival of these CMEs....The aurora may become visible over much of the northern half of the country, and maybe as far south as Alabama to northern California."
NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center on X: "Another series of CMEs associated with flare activity from Region 3664 over the past several days are expected to merge and arrive at Earth by midday (UTC) on 12 May. Periods of G4-G5 (Severe-Extreme) geomagnetic storms are likely to follow the arrival of these CMEs. https://t.co/353Iopnhly" / X

These storms affect GPS and farmers who use GPS to plant seed have no working GPS to do so.  Some of the farmers I know have not been able to plant because of this latest storm.

And the sunspot area that's produced these flares is coming back around to face the Earth in about two weeks.  If it's still active - there could be more CMEs that are Earth-directed.  Plus other areas on the sun are and can become active and produce flares.

We are just starting the most active part of this solar maximum.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!

Maranatha~
