Revelation 17:12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.
Are the kings without power before they receive their kingdoms, or do they only become kings for that short time with the beast?Do the kingdoms exist before these kings receive them, or do they only become kingdoms for that short time with the beast?Do they show up just before the beast?
Daniel 7:7d and it had ten horns.
8 I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.
Is the beast the, "another little horn"? If so, he comes up among them: later? at the same time? But it says he plucks up three by the roots, does he kill them, and replace them with three others?
Daniel 7:20 And of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows.
24 And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.
Before whom three fell, sounds like they die. But, "he shall subdue three kings", taken with, "plucked up by the roots", and with, "three fell", could indicate that a new three replaced the the first three, and the new three were in total submission.
Also, it says that another shall rise after them, so apparently the tens come first, and possible soon afterwards, the beast.
