"What did the hight priest do during those years?"

From the time that David brought the ark to Jerusalem, to the tent that he had pitched for it,

I Chronicles 13:3 And let us bring again the ark of our God to us: for we enquired not at it in the days of Saul.

I Chronicles 16:1 So they brought the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tent that David had pitched for it: and they offered burnt sacrifices and peace offerings before God.

Until the time when Solomon brought the ark out from the city of David to the newly completed temple, and brought the vessels of the tabernacle from Gibeon to the new temple.

II Chronicles 1:3 So Solomon, and all the congregation with him, went to the high place that was at Gibeon; for there was the tabernacle of the congregation of God, which Moses the servant of the LORD had made in the wilderness.

II Chronicles 5:2 Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the chief of the fathers of the children of Israel, unto Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the city of David, which is Zion.

5 And they brought up the ark, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and all the holy vessels that were in the tabernacle, these did the priests and the Levites bring up.

What was done on the day of atonement, during that time, from when David became king, until Solomon had finished building the temple?
Did the high priest bring the blood from the tabernacle in Gibeon, to the ark in the city of David?
