Hi John and Doves,
The Bible is very specific about the fallen angels who 'kept not their first estate'. Jude 1:6. Angels are heavenly creatures. We humans are earthly creatures. We are flesh and blood. Angels are not. Good angels are able to take on the form of humans when they have messages to impart to humans. As in the story of Abraham and the story of Lot.
Our 'estate' is earth - as flesh and blood creatures. At the rapture - we will be transformed into immortal, flesh and blood humans. We are not transformed into angels or heavenly creatures. As is our LORD Jesus. He was born as flesh and blood and was resurrected as flesh and blood. We meet LORD Jesus in the air at the rapture. We appear in the throne room, wearing white robes. Revelation 7:9. And, just like LORD Jesus, we are still flesh and blood humans. Albeit transformed and immortal.
Natan testified that the new Jerusalem (the Temple of God in heaven) comes down to earth. I believe that we immortalised humans will be in that temple with LORD Jesus. After all - earth IS our estate. This is our eternal destiny. Even after the millennial reign where the old heaven and the old earth are swept away and there is a new heaven and new earth awaiting. Revelation 21 (linked below) gives us many details. We will always remain earthly, flesh and blood human beings. Our destiny is not to dwell in heaven itself. Which is why I also believe that animals will definitely be part of our lives for all eternity. Almighty God did not create animals for no reason. The pure love that we have for our animals actually means something. We are connected in a very profound way.

Isaiah 11:6 is a wonderful passage. Animals are part of our earthly story. Our beloved pets are part of our story. Almighty God has promise to wipe every tear from our eyes. He will wipe away our sorrows - not our memories. If our sorrows and tears are to be wiped away, this means that we will be reunited with our beloved pets as well as our beloved departed family and friends. This truth hit me like a thunderbolt today. A magnificent, wonderful thunderbolt. We will have no sorrows - no tears - no yearnings. We will be spiritually, emotionally, mentally and physically COMPLETE. Which means we will be reunited with our beloved animals too. Isn't that realisation just incredible?
PLEASE come, LORD Jesus.
