I completely understand your rationale. However, once we are clear in our minds that there are 2 programs: one for the Jewish nation and one for the Church, the Body of Christ we are able to rightly divide the Scriptures so that we know when we are being addressed and when Israel is being addressed.

I know many claim the Gospel of John for the Church but I'm still not seeing it since the Church, the Body of Christ was still a secret or a mystery not yet revealed through Paul, who was still Saul at the time.
