"RE: Isaac S: 05.01.22: 70th week"

Isaac,
I find it very interesting that you have come to a similar conclusion that I have.
That is in regard to Daniel's 70th week, from the perspective of Jesus the Messiah, and the beast, the anti-messiah.

It seems to me that Jesus confirmed the covenant in the 3½ years of his earthly ministry.
He perfectly kept the law without sin, he fulfilled the prophesies,
and completed all the types and pictures of the tabernacle and sacrifices.
By being the ultimate, perfect, sacrifice himself, the Lamb of God, he caused the other sacrifice and oblation to cease.
At the end of Matthew 23 he declared that the temple, which he then called "their house", is left unto them desolate.
The last half of that week is still to come, where Jesus will bring Israel to receive him, through much tribulation of the time of Jacob's trouble,
where a third in the land, and those fled to the wilderness, who survive, will receive him when he returns.

As far as the anti-messiah, it seems that he will counterfeit the first 3½ years, by his form of confirming the covenant.
It seems that he will allow Israel to again have their sacrifice and oblation in a rebuilt temple, without having anything to do with Jesus.
However, he will end up going into that temple and declaring himself to be god.
Then his form of the last half will not be to bring Israel to receive Jesus, but instead, to believe in him, the beast, or die.

That there is a dual fulfillment of the first half - one right (by Jesus 2,000 years ago), and the other wrong (by the anti-messiah soon to come).
That there will be a simultaneous dual fulfillment of the second half, one right (by Jesus), and the other wrong (by the anti-messiah).
