"THE "PRIVATE INTERPRETATION" OF PROPHECY"

THE  "PRIVATE INTERPRETATION" OF PROPHECY CORRECTED....

Many Christians mistakenly think that the following Scripture, which speaks of the "PRIVATE INTERPRETATION" of prophecy, is speaking of the READER'S interpretation of prophecy, but is NOT. It is speaking of the WRITER'S interpretation of the prophecies about which he is writing according to:

2 Peter 1:20-21

"Knowing this first, that NO PROPHECY of the Scriptures is of any PRIVATE INTERPRETATION.  For the prophecy CAME NOT,  in old time,  by the WILL OF MAN ,  but by Holy men of God who SPOKE AS THEY WERE MOVED by the HOLY SPIRIT."

SO, THERE YOU HAVE IT :

The above Scripture is telling us that the "INTERPRETATION" of the prophecies written by the Holy prophetic writers of God, ARE NOT of their own  "PRIVATE INTERPRETATION" ,  but rather from the inspiration of the  HOLY SPIRIT thus  making the "INTERPRETATION" of the prophecy NOT "PRIVATE" , ie. not exclusive.  This Scripture is NOT SPEAKING of the reader's private interpretation of the prophecies that many Christians  mistakenly think that it is.

According to Your Holy Word, come Lord Jesus !
