Hi dear Lady Warrior, John and Doves,


Since you first wrote to Doves last year, Lady Warrior, your life has been one chaotic and emotional disaster. Not of your own making, I hasten to add. As you pointed out in your post from last week (linked below) you probably bit off more than you could chew. I used to be just like that. I thought that my love and affection would change even the hardest of hearts. I'm sure you'll agree that this simply does not happen. People are so very different. Certain things that affect me profoundly are a big yawn for others. That used to shock me. I have also realised that the way I perceive things are very different to the way others perceive the same situation. What constitutes major heartbreak for me, is nothing but a blip for others. I have had to seriously toughen up. Get myself a backbone and stop casting my pearls before swine. Lol.


Your young ones have taken advantage of your good, Christian (tender) heart. I believe the biggest shock we all face is that other people do NOT think like we do. For an easy example - it astounds me that secular people cannot see that Almighty God is real. That the whole of creation is testament to Him. They walk around with these blinkers on. They are THE most boring people. They are like pot-holes in the road. Bloody annoying and causing traffic jams. Refusing to see the BIG picture. The majority are not the terrorists and murderers we have surrounding us. They are not the politicians who are deliberately destroying the world. They are the disinterested - the laconic and lazy. Spiritually, mentally and physically bereft of any depth or wisdom. Insular and selfish. These are the "luke warm" that Jesus talks about.


You have tried your very best. I pray that your family find peace and quiet very, very soon. I so look forward to meeting you at the wedding supper of the Lamb.
