In your 5/01 post Unlocking Daniel's 70th week through gospel of John (fivedoves.com) you stated, "The mark of the beast is not literal mark or bar code or seal or rfid chip. Forehead represents the thoughts and Hand represents actions."
Worshipping the beast would certainly show up in a person's thoughts and actions, but the mark of the beast is a literal mark of some type that a worshipper of the beast receives in the forehead or in the right hand in order to buy or sell as shown in Rev. 13:16-17. The severe consequences of taking the mark of the beast in the forehead or in the hand are shown in Rev. 14:9-11, and the reward for those not worshipping the beast and not receiving his mark upon their foreheads or in their hands is being resurrected and living and reigning with Christ for a thousand years is shown in Rev. 20:4. So the mark of the beast has to be something more than just a thought or action.
