Gino, you had said last week, “Will the surviving remnant of Israel, when Jesus returns to the earth, say this about him?”
Isaiah 25:9 And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

I think that is correct, I also like Zechariah 13:6 “And one will say to him, ‘What are these wounds between your arms?’ Then he will answer, ‘Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.’”
I once had a very interesting conversation with an Orthodox Jewish rabbi a little over 20 years ago - I was not openly trying to witness to him, but was able to talk about my faith and was always sensitive looking for that open door.
God was very gracious and provided me with a huge open door, at near the end of my conversation with this rabbi in which I discussed my faith, but did not try to push it on him, he asked me the question - “so what happens if all you Christians are right about Jesus and we Jews are wrong, what will happen when He returns?”
I almost felt like it was a loaded question or put out there to bait me. I think he was expecting me to tell him that our Messiah would punish or destroy all the unbelievers giving him an excuse to dismiss Christianity. Here is the answer I gave him.
I told him that when Israel, in their distress finally call out Baruch haba BShem Adonai, Blessed is He Who comes in the Name of the Lord, and reaches out to invite Yeshua to return to save them - He will not come back to destroy them but to love them, and I directed him to the story of Joseph in Genesis, a story I knew he would be familiar with. I told him just like Joseph forgave his brothers and explained to them that what they meant for evil God meant for good, likewise, when Yeshua returns it will be a beautiful heartfelt loving family reunion for the remnant of Jews that call upon Him.
That rabbi was in his 80s all those years ago so he is probably long gone by now and that was one encounter and I never spoke with him since then, my hope over the years has always been that that seed took root sometime before he died and that he is now with his Messiah.
Your brother in Messiah,
Derrick Drew
