Chariots of Fire: Vangelis Death a Sign of Elijah’s Coming?
Could the passing of Greek composer Vangelis be a sign of the imminent coming of the end-time Elijah?
Chariots of Fire Movie (1981)
Vangelis died in Paris on 17 May 2022, from heart failure (possibly linked to Corona Virus). He had a (very) long career in writing music, but was especially well known for composing the (haunting) music for the Chariots of Fire Movie. This movie tells the true story of two athletes: Eric Liddell a devout Scottish Christian and Harold Abrahams, an English Jew. It is a remarkable and timeless movie, and the real life (missionary) story of Eric Liddell (who died in a Japanese prison camp) is truly inspirational. Chariots of Fire in the Bible
There are several references to chariots of fire in the Bible. The most well known relates to Elijah’s amazing ascension into Heaven in 2 Kings 2: 11,12 (Amplified).
11 As they continued along and talked, behold, a chariot of fire with horses of fire [appeared suddenly and] separated the two of them, and Elijah went up to heaven in a whirlwind. 12 Elisha saw it and cried out, “My father, my father, the chariot of Israel and its horsemen!” And he no longer saw Elijah.
Elisha’s mountain full of horses and chariots of fire is also noteworthy!! 2 Kings 6:17
17 Then Elisha prayed and said, “Lord, please, open his eyes that he may see.” And the Lord opened the servant’s eyes and he saw; and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire surrounding Elisha.
A third key reference is in Isaiah 66:15. For indeed, the Lord will come in fire
And His chariots will be like the stormy wind, To render His anger with rage,
And His rebuke with flames of fire.Jesus. Malachi and Elijah
In Matthew 17 Jesus speaks of the coming of Elijah to RESTORE ALL THINGS! Matthew 17: 10, 11
10 The disciples asked Him, “Then why do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?” 11 He answered and said, “Elijah is coming and will restore all things.”
In Malachi 4;5 we read: “Behold, I am going to send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and terrible day of the Lord. 6 He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers [a reconciliation produced by repentance].

Could the sign of Elijah’s GOING.(in a CHARIOT OF FIRE) be the sign of His COMING? Could this be the sign of the imminent Rapture of the Remnant Bride? The interesting aspect is that this has happened at a time of VERY HIGH WATCHING for His Return!!
