"Re: Does Revelation predict Corona virus? (crown + toxon/bow)"

Reminder as I saw another article on this. Lots of validity.

Revelation is the 66th book of the bible, and the 6th chapter (66:6) would seem to kick things off for what will eventually be the reign of the antichrist.

The Corona-virus has taken over and changed the whole world. It has changed political power, economies and so much more. Things worldwide, will never be the same.

The first rider is on a white horse. The greek word for 'white' here is leukos. Leukos or Leucus is often a reference to a greek mythology. Part of its meaning is morning sunshine alluding to the dawn of a new day. This name looks closely related to Lucifer.

Corona means crown. The greek word you see below in the Revelation verse is stephanos and means crown. Corona is essentially the same word in Latin. The next word of interest in regards to interpretation is bow. In greek word translated bow is 'toxon'.

Merriam Webster's has the following to say:

Word History The Greek word toxon means "bow" or "arrow." From this came the Greek toxikon, meaning "a poison in which arrows are dipped." Toxikon was borrowed into Latin as toxicum, which gave rise to the Latin verb intoxicare, "to poison." The English word intoxicate comes from this Latin verb.

So we see that we have a 'shining white' rider bringing the dawning of a new day with Corona (crown) toxon.

What follows are both war and famine. Be watchful, and pray to Jesus.

Revelation 6
King James Version

And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.

And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see.

And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.

And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.
