"Update from Doc visit today"

Hi to all.

A couple of weeks ago I shared my newest symptoms.  Today I discussed those with my Oncologist.  She was very concerned and since no reason at this time to pursue cancer concerns in the neck, she urged me to contact Primary Doc office to do a Zoom appt this week and not wait to talk with the Primary Doc 1st week in July.  I am scheduled for Wed morning this week.  The concern is the uptick of my Parkinson's disease as symptoms quickly increasing.  I cannot last but a short time out there in grocery shopping, 15mins is sufficient of strength I have before losing that strength and needing to be home.  I call it "hit and run" shopping picking up what I can.  It is enough to make it well through SS at my church and then mid service the strength leaves and I nearly also go to sleep.

I call myself the rock and roll lady as I rock in my chair/pew or bedside and roll with the issues before me. I told the doctor I am well over being too tired to chase down all medical worries now.  She is desirous to get meds that are specific to Parkinson's in me to slow down the disease a bit as it is "full steam ahead" with the symptoms.  My speech is no fun.  HOWEVER, my humor is...and that being said imagine this....

I am in Heaven and Jesus has a moment with me showing His scars in his hands, side and feet.  And He says to me, well, Patty, don't you think since I am choosing to live with these scars forever, I thought how you might enjoy keeping that "funky speech" of yours forever and hang out with me.   I look at Him, like, REALLY???  Jesus starts chuckling and Heaven begins shaking with that robust chuckle that leads to full on laughter.  His eyes twinkle at me and smiles, "well, not really.  I wouldn't do that to you as I am sure you're tired of that "funky speech of yours by now."  I laugh with him.  Yes, be nice to have a new body and good speech.

Ya  know, as I am writing this, I just realize I am speaking out the words I am typing.  Never did THAT before.   But  y'all know how to pray for me.

Patty
