There was a news article this week, titled, "Sex robot customers demand 'angel' model with wings and groundbreaking AI".

Doesn't that sound like what could be considered the days of Lot (minus the wings, of course)?

Is it merely a coincidence, considering that with the following?

Luke 17:28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
  29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
When those men in Sodom also demanded the angels for their pleasure, they were but mere hours away from the total destruction of Sodom, in the morning.

Did not the men in Sodom demand something as strange?

Genesis 19:5 And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.
