John and Doves - this story is gathering momentum. The disaster for the Syrians cannot be stressed enough. This is escalating rapidly. As a result of their usual supply of water from the Euphrates being drastically curtailed - the normal farm yields just ain't going to happen. Implying looming famine. This situation is severely affecting north east Syria. On the border with Israel (of course!)
Keep in mind that Turkey's water management manipulation is obviously the culprit here. Turkey, itself, is currently experiencing INTENSE drought. Therefore - Turkey will not be doing anything to ease the growing water crisis for Syria. Turkey is desperate for the water.
