Do not listen to "these" prophets when they prophecy to you, filling you with false and futile hopes. They are making up everything they say. They do not speak for the Lord! They keep saying to those who (disobey) rebel against the Lord..... those who despise (ignore and treat as nothing) My word, 'Do not worry', they say. 'The Lord says you will have peace!'

And to those who stubbornly follow their own evil desires (not what God wants) they say, 'No harm will come your way!' (no judgement - all grace and then the rapture)

Do any of these "prophets" (who say this is from the Lord) know the Lord well enough to "hear" what He is saying? Has even one of them cared enough to listen? (to what God is saying to them and to His people?) (Jeremiah 23...)

The prophets do evil and abuse their power. The priests (shepherds of My people) are the same, all ungodly and wicked men......

They encourage those who are doing evil instead of (warning) turning them away from their sins (to repent). (Jeremiah 23....)

"I (God) will send disaster upon the leaders of My people ( Pastors, Elders, Prophets) the shepherds of My sheep.

For they have destroyed and scattered the very ones they were expected to care for," says the Lord. (Jeremiah 23)
