Kurt,
That’s a good study, one of the better ones I’ve seen on the subject. At least he’s getting deeper into the scriptures, which many are afraid to do and would rather just go with the crowd or consensus.
He’s also closer to the truth knowing that the seals are not all future, though some certainly are. He’s very good at realizing the rider on the white horse can’t be the antichrist because the antichrist is a man, and these definitely are spirit riders.
So the only issue I have and is no biggie, knowing that we can all disagree on details, is when the tribulation officially starts.
It certainly can seem like it started and some think it has, but let’s not forget the words of Jesus, “soon after the trouble of those days”, then he gives a near perfect description of the 6th seal. “The sun will grow dark and the moon will not give its light(which also describes a blood moon), the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
At that time the sign of the son of man will appear in the sky(Jesus himself is the sign), then all the peoples of the world will cry, they will see the son of man coming on clouds with great power and glory. He will use a loud trumpet to send his angels all around the earth and they will gather his chosen people from every part of the earth.”
This is also a perfect description of the Rapture, not the 2nd coming. The 2nd coming is with the armies of heaven on white horses, no angels.
God Bless,
Craig O
