Over the years, I have heard or read most people saying that the seal, trumpet, and vial judgments are all sequential. That only after all seven seals are completed, that then the trumpets begin. That only after all seven trumpets are completed, that then the vials begin. However, many years ago, I heard one pastor teach on the "telescope view". He asked us if we had ever seen one of those older, manual telescopes. Where, when you were done, you could collapse the telescope for easier storage. The thinnest tube, with the eye piece, would slide into the slightly wider next tube, which would then slide into the next slightly wider tube, depending if it have a total of three, four or five tubes. When needed again, the tubes could be pulled back out, to have a complete working telescope of the correct focal length. This pastor said that he believed that the seals, trumpets, and vials would happen in a similar way to the telescope. He explained it as all the trumpets happening toward the end of the seals, like during the last two or three. Also, he explained the it as all the vials happening towards the end of the trumpets. He said that the last couple of seals, and the last couple of trumpets, and the last couple of vials would all be at the same time. He said that they would finish concurrently. Has anyone else ever heard this teaching before?
