With the recent pestilence upon the entire earth, and the wealth of many nations dissolved,there are a number people saying that these are the beginning of sorrows.If so, are the beginning of sorrows to be before the blessed hope?
Matthew 24:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.(are lines 4 and 5 about a falling away first?)6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.(line 6 said, "the end is not yet", does that mean not the tribulation yet?)7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.("beginning of sorrows": like corona virus before the blessed hope?)9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.(What does the, "then", in line 9 mean? After the beginning of sorrows? After the blessed hope? In the tribulation?)
If line 8 is being taught as meaning before the tribulation, can line 9 be before the tribulation, as well?Only after line 15 (the abomination of desolation) comes line 21:
Matthew 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
Does that mean that the tribulation doesn't begin until the abomination?Or, as many have taught, is there is a difference between the tribulation and the great tribulation? i.e. horrible times vs. really horrible times?Or does the scriptures only show one tribulation, the great tribulation, lasting forty and two months?However, my question really is, what things happen before the tribulation?What things happen before the blessed hope?What about:
II Thessalonians 2:1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
Does the apostasy, the falling away, happen before the blessed hope?Does the revealing of the man of sin also happen before the blessed hope?
