I was asked about the scary murder hornets.
It made me think, instead, about Revelation 9.
There it speaks of locusts with stingers.
This is how I replied:

2 months before I got saved, on a Christmas Eve, after midnight mass, for some reason I opened up the big catholic bible we got for our wedding, and opened to The Apocalypse (what they call it). I had never heard about the end times, rapture, Hal Lindsey, or anything like that, nor had been given the gospel yet. As I was reading through chapter 9, and being terrified of stings, ever since at 7, when I had stepped into a hornets nest on the ground, and was swarmed & stung; and as I read about those locusts with stingers, something convinced me that what I was reading was absolutely true, and that it was really going to happen to me, unless ...
The following work day I found a This Was Your Life tract in our mailbox. I read it before handing it over to our parish priest. A couple days later, the company that I worked for, forced me to work with a man that kept quoting scriptures & giving the gospel.
The LORD, thank God, set me up, and those stingers were ever in the back of my mind, as I initially resisted the gospel for two months.
Then, when I called on Jesus to save me, I no longer feared going to hell, nor having to be stung by the locusts with stingers.
