1 Cor 10:31 (24 May 2020)
"Correction, it is Zech 14 when the saints RETURN with Jesus at the END of the Trib."

By 1 Cor 10:31

Last week, in a reply addressed to Gino, wrote the wrong location of Scripture.  http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/may2020/1cor1031-517-2.htm

EIKS!!!  Hate it when I get sloppy!!  An editor once took me to the proverbial woodshed over that – and told me not to EVER turn in sloppy writing again!!  Woodshed:  you’re allowed a pen, a pencil, 3 pieces of chewing gum, a pack of notebook paper & told to stay in there & write a complete novel before you can see daylight again!!   😉

At any rate, I really hate it when I plug in Scripture & have announced the wrong location.  Sighs – if life just wasn’t so full with so few hours in the day to try to accomplish much.  Still though:  no excuse!  Whether I’m high on coffee caffeine or whether I’ve not slept well at all – either way, I should always take time to look up Scripture references/locations and plug them in correctly – esp. b/c someone who may be reading this from let’s say, China, may not have a Bible to be able to look it up for themselves!

Last week, when I mentioned the saints come back with Jesus (at the END of the Tribulation)  I wrote Zechariah 12.  That is incorrect.

It is Zechariah 14.  Specifically:  Zech 14:4-5  [this is from NKJV translation:]

And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives,

Which faces Jerusalem on the east.

And the Mount of lives shall be split in two,

From east to west.

Making a very large valley;

Half of the mountains shall move toward the north

And half of it toward the south.

Then you shall flee through My mountain valley,

For the mountain valley shall reach to Azal.

Yes, you shall flee

As you fled from the earthquake

In the days of Uzziah king of Judah.

Thus the Lord my God will come,

And all the saints with You.    [other versions say “with Him”]

Also note, some contemporary versions say it’s the angels that come with Him – so when “not sure” I always go with KJV, which clearly says SAINTS.

WE are the saints; not the angels.

The most elementary deduction is:  the ONLY WAY we can RETURN WITH Him ~ is to ALREADY *BE* with Him!!!   [Thus PRE-Trib rapture!!]
