"Lisa Taylor & DP!"

You are both SUCH a blessing!!!!

Lisa, I LOVE that you, too, are such an animal lover!!!   And I’ve always been blessed by your posts over the years, BTW!!  YOU in fact, ARE a blessing!  Thank you!

Told my DH that I don’t care if I’m scooping poop for all eternity – as long as I (hopefully) get assigned tasks of “caring for” animals in heaven!  But hopefully by then there will be NO poop to scoop!  That’s like if you work at the zoo – you can tell people you’re part of the zoo poo crew!!  /being silly…..

DP ~ how wonderful to see you again pop up around here!  My, life has put you thru’ the wringer a time or two, huh?  Still remain steady & pray for you & yours!  Oh, you’re so right about those feisty cats, too!!  My best rapture-watching friend is def. a cat person!!  Me:  dog person.  But DH & I did once own a cat …. Or he owned us…..(before my cat dander allergies went CRAZY on me, so I cannot have another!!)  And our cat was – not only Bee-you-tiful!!  GORGEOUS in fact…. But also SMART!!!!

Once, in a rent house, on a chilly day, we let the cat & dog get cozy together in the garage-turned-extra room (complete with bed & fluff) & thought they’d be happy….. well, the cat decided to leave the dog out there alone!!  Found a way to climb up into the attic, came back into the house (closet attic escape!)  and meowed to let us know he was there!  We grabbed a laundry basket & told him to jump in!!  hahah!  Little rascal!!  I’ve never forgotten just how smart he was!!  I hope to see him again, too!!  “Munchkin”!!  Or we’d often call him “Munchie”.  He was beautiful smoky-gray with white and absolutely gorgeous BLUE eyes!!!  Loved little Munchie.

Thank you both again for taking time to respond!

I do have a question though – we know mortal bodies cannot enter heaven (thus, we are CHANGED in the twinkling of an eye—BEFORE we can enter)…… so what say you:   how would this apply to our pets?!

Also one other question:  because we love animals so much --  will it be ONLY our own pets with us?  What about the strays, the abused, the ones who never knew what it was like to be loved on earth?  I’m one of those “bleeding hearts” (my cruel uncle used to call me)  b/c my heart breaks every time I see a stray!!

Just if you get time & decide to answer, it’d be most appreciated.
