Hello John and Doves,
A couple more dates to
add to the 'Watch List". The 'watch days' of April
have passed - now we are moving on to May/June.
Iyar 25 - Day 40 of the Omer Count - Ascension Day, Holy
Thursday, Feast of the Ascension - on this day, Jesus
was taken up into the clouds, maybe we will be called up
into the clouds on this day!: May sunset
29/sunset 30.
Sivan 6 - Day 50 of
the Omer Count - Shavuot - Pentecost: June
8/9.
Pentecost: The
day the Church was born. "Fruit of the trees" is
judged in Heaven. Referred to as "A Festival
Without a Date." The Pentecost ceremony is called
"Decorating the Bride". Enoch is believed to have
been raptured on Pentecost. This is the day the
early church believed Jesus would return.
Reminder of the end of
the 70th year: Iyar 5 (Day 20 of the Omer Count)
is the Hebrew day of Israel's independence. It
will be celebrated on Iyar 3 to Iyar 4, May 8/9, to
avoid Sabbath desecration on Iyar 5. So the last
day of the 70th year (2019) will be Iyar 3 to Iyar 4 -
as Iyar 5 is the 'official' Hebrew day. Sunset
May 8 to sunset May 9 will be the last day of the 70th
year. Some people are looking at May
14 for the end of the 70th year.
Again, I am using the
chabad.org calendar. Matches better with the
calendar Israel uses today. The torahcalendar.com is a
month earlier (ex. Shavuot is May 11/12)
Maybe we'll be
raptured on one of these 'watch' days...
Matthew 24:43
And so we watch for
His return...
Maranatha!
Pray for the peace of
Jerusalem!
